MGC Shockwave Wired Controller for PS4, PS3 and Windows PC

Function Introduction:
This product is primarily compatible with PS4 and PS3 consoles and is also compatible with PC systems. It can be connected to a computer for game operation and supports any game version on the PS4 console.
This product uses high-performance wired connection technology, ensuring fast, reliable, and lag-free connection with strong anti-interference capabilities, unaffected by other wireless devices. Driver-free, automatic connection, no cumbersome pairing process required.
Built-in LED color breathing light:
The controller has color LED indicators for player controller channel functions and status indications, with the same indication function as the original PS4 controller. Different controllers are indicated by different colored LEDs.
Built-in asymmetrical left and right motors support dual-motor dual-vibration function.
Features a speaker and a 3.5mm headphone jack, allowing audio signals for the game to be output via the controller's speaker and headphones.
Supports a dual-point capacitive touchpad with programming capabilities. Frequently used action buttons or combination buttons can be mapped and programmed to the back buttons, enhancing the gaming experience.
Supports PC USB online program upgrades, enabling compatibility with the latest PS4 system updates. This effectively avoids issues caused by system upgrades affecting product usability.
II. Operation Instructions
(I) Connecting the Controller to the Console After powering on the PS4 and entering the interface, insert the controller data cable into the console's USB port. The indicator LED will light up (blue). Then press the HOME button on the controller. The indicator LED will flash. Once connected successfully, the LED will remain lit according to the color of the RGB lights on the console.
Single press of the HOME button:
①: Displays the console's main screen. ②: Pressing the HOME button twice switches between running applications. Long press the HOME button:
①: Ends the application
②: Logs out/powers off the PS4 console.
③: Displays available options based on the current status.
Controller SHARE/OPTIONS buttons
PS4 console function:
SHARE button: Enables the Share button. OPTIONS button: Enables the Select button.
PS3 console function: SELECT corresponds to the PS4 SHARE button, START button corresponds to the PS4 OPTIONS button.
Controller light status explanation:
Pressing the HOME button automatically configures the controllers for user login order identification.
The PS4 console allows up to 4 PS4 controllers to be connected simultaneously, indicated by different LED colors.

B. After connecting the controllers, the corresponding channel LEDs indicate the working channel. When the first controller is connected to the console, the blue light on the controller indicates user.
1. When the second controller is connected to the console, the red light on the controller end indicates user.
2. Turn off the PS4 console; the channel indicator LEDs will gradually dim and turn off within approximately 10 seconds, indicating the system is in sleep mode.
Touchpad Function:
Some games support touchpad operation. You can test the touchpad function in PS4 console settings—Network Connection—Select Wireless Network—Input Interface.
Audio Function:
Set the sound to controller output. You can test the speaker and headphone sound output in the game. When headphones are plugged in, the speakers are silent; when headphones are unplugged, the speakers work.
Connecting PS3/Windows PC:
01. Through a USB data cable, the PS3 supports three-axis sensing and vibration functions. Connect the controller to the USB port of your PS3/PC using the data cable. The switching mode is the same as the original PS4 controller, and the indicator lights are the same as for a wired PS4 connection.
02. No driver installation is required when connecting to a PC. It's plug-and-play. You can play games on PC/Steam.
PC: Connect the controller to the PC's USB port via the USB data cable for wired controller use. The default is PC360 mode, indicated by the channel light. On PC, press and hold the SHARE and OPTIONS buttons to switch between Xbox 360 and D-INPUT modes. In D-INPUT mode, the white light remains constantly on.
When the console is in sleep or powered off, press the HOME button while the controller is plugged into the console to wake it up.
Programming Functions:
Macro Programming
Supported Buttons: ABXY, L1R1, L2R2, D-pad UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT, Left Joystick, Right Joystick (one rotation of the joystick corresponds to 8 buttons), L3, R3. Supports recording button press times. One programming button can support a maximum of 25 button presses. When more than 25 buttons are pressed, the controller's channel light will flash rapidly (4Hz), indicating that Macro recording is not currently supported. Pressing the back button at this time will record the 25 buttons. If no back button press is performed, the Macro function will exit after 60 seconds, recording the current operation. The default setting is 25 buttons. Macro programming functions are saved after powering off.
Operation
with the controller connected:
Switch OF/ON on the back of the controller. Switching to ON enables the back button function, supporting Macro programming; switching to OFF disables the back button function, and the FN1 and FN2 back buttons are inactive.
Press and hold any one of the FN1 or FN2 programming buttons, then press the SET button for two seconds. The channel light will flash slowly (2Hz), and a vibration will indicate that the back button has entered programming mode and has begun recording key presses (supports recording key press times, 60 seconds between each key press). Recording starts from the first key press and stores up to 25 key presses. After recording all key presses, press the back button again to save the recording and end Macro recording. The motor will vibrate once, indicating that the OA channel light has returned to its previous state. If no key presses are recorded after starting Macro, pressing the back button again will clear the back button and end Macro recording (empty key). If no other operations are performed after entering Macro mode, the Macro function will exit after 60 seconds, retaining the last recorded function, and the motor will vibrate.
After activating Macro, if only one button is recorded, it's a single-button mapping and can be used as a regular button. The programming key functions the same as the button itself; pressing the programming key is equivalent to pressing the button, and releasing the programming key is equivalent to releasing the button, with vibration feedback. Pressing other buttons, including joysticks, will not interrupt the recorded key values; the currently pressed button will be executed synchronously.
Clearing Macro Programming Function:
With the controller connected,
1. Press and hold any one of the back buttons (FN1, FN2) programming keys, then press the SET button for two seconds. The channel light will flash slowly (2Hz), indicating that this back button has entered programming mode.
2. If no button is recorded, press the programming key for that back button again to clear its programming. The channel light will stay on after clearing.
Restoring Macro Programming Function to Factory Settings:
With the controller connected via Bluetooth,
Simultaneously press and hold any one of the FN1, FN2 programming keys and the SET button for 5 seconds. The FN1 and FN2 buttons will return to factory settings (default L2, R2 button functions). Note: The programmed keys are set to the default function of FN1 (L2 key) and FN2 (R2 key) at the factory. The programmed keys have a memory function; the settings will not be erased after power failure and will be retained upon startup.
2. Turbo Burst Function
Press and hold the button you want to use for Turbo. The first press of Turbo switches to semi-automatic mode, indicated by a motor vibration.
Without releasing the button, press Turbo a second time to switch to fully automatic mode, again indicated by a motor vibration. With the same button, press Turbo a third time to clear the Turbo function for that button; another motor vibration indicates this.
Additionally, press and hold the Turbo button for more than 3 seconds, then press the Share button to clear the Turbo function for all buttons. Holding the Turbo button for 3 seconds will cause the channel light to flash slowly. Pressing the Share button will restore the light, indicating successful clearing. If the light is flashing without pressing the Share button, releasing the Turbo button will invalidate the operation, and the light will return to a steady state.
Press and hold Turbo, push the right stick up to the maximum to increase speed, and push the right stick down to the maximum to decrease speed.
The channel light will flash 3 times (4Hz) for each setting, indicating successful setting.
Speed 3 levels: Level 1: 8 shots/second, Level 2: 15 shots/second, Level 3: 25 shots/second. Bounces/second. Default speed is level 2 (Save the set frequency after setting, otherwise it's troublesome to reset if there's an
accidental power outage).
